Tonight I find myself wondering where all the time went. Seriously.
Tomorrow: Sam’s Club with my mom to restock my freezer, Christmas cookie baking for Friday night’s office party/cookie exchange, my debut as goalie at a 4pm soccer game, and presentation prep for a VoIP phone demo on Monday morning at 9.
Monday night there’s indoor ultimate frisbee, Tuesday night there’s some volunteering and then bowling, Wednesday night is soccer practice, Thursday night is the Burn Notice finale (provided that I am not still working on a project at 9 at night), Friday night is the office Christmas party, and Saturday is my cousin’s wedding.
And Christmas is a week after that and New Years is a week after that.
It’s taken me a year’s worth of work to get to this point, but I could really use a good old fashioned Christmas break; the kind I haven’t had in about 4 years. I just need a few days to sleep, rest, and clean my place.
Anyways.
Thursday night was Wild Chef (again; that’s four times in three weeks, for those of you keeping score at home) and it was delicious as usual. My love for their spicy salmon sushi continues unabated.
Then last night I made quite possibly the most awesome discovery at Gordon Food Service since finding their bagged romaine: Baja Chicken Enchilada soup. I’ve been on a quest for this stuff since I got hooked on it at a coffee shop downtown, and I found the stuff at GFS. It’s a bit expensive at $17, but it’s worth it. It’s also much cheaper than getting it at the coffee shop at $4 a serving. Between that and the lasagna that I managed to burn last night, I should be set for food for a while now.
